First day of Preschool and Addison's nine month appointment

Yesterday was a long anticipated first day of preschool for Annabelle. She is attending the same church program as last year but it now in the Blue Two's class! Many of her friends from last year are back but there are two classes of two year olds so half are in one class and half in the other. I was a little worried about how she would react. Some days, she spends 10 minutes crying when I drop her off at hourly care so I was a little worried that she might not take to well to a new class with a new teacher and several new faces. We got there, Addison in tow and off she went! Not a tear in her eye and not even looking back to be honest. I was thrilled that my little girl was confident and independent! She took to Miss Kelley and had to hug and kiss her when I picked her up.. My little lady.. Here are photos from her first day of preschool. Getting ready and excited about it!

Addison had her nine month appointment today and she is just perfect! 75% in weight, 47% in height and the same for head circumference. I wanted to talk to the doctor about formula and how much she should be taking in. In addition I was a little concerned that we were feeding her too much and that she might get fat. Currently she eats an 8 oz bottle in the morning and most nights before bed. At lunch and dinner she eats two 6oz jars of baby food and a baby yogurt. To me, this seems like a lot for a nine month old. The Dr suggested that she eat at least 24oz formula (one more bottle than we give her now) and no more than 2 jars of baby food a day.. He seemed more concerned that she was in the 80% in weight and has dropped to 75%, that some how she might drop down further in the weight department. I am not sure I totally understand his concern?!? I think she is fat and he is worried that she might drop too much weight? He seemed very sleepy during our visit, so maybe he misspoke. I don't know. He did prescribe a liquid vitamin for her so we are going to start that and go from there.

Today we are resting and after that we are going to head to a friends to hang out with her and her son...

That is the update..
Love to you all
Carolyn
