Addison Joyce Evans arrived into this world! Just a few minutes after we arrived in Wichita! God is great!

Addison is just perfect. Looks like Annabelle but slightly different and with a bit more hair and a bit darker as well.. Amber pushed ONCE! and out came a crying angel. Pink as can be weighing 6 pounds 11 ounces and 18 3/4 inches long.

Amber is recovering well. She had us scared for a bit with really high blood pressures and chills but over the course of the night, her blood pressure went back to a more normal level.

I am currently in the wal-greens parking lot typing as I wait to pick up my Zpac (Thank you Dr R!!!) and using the Panera next doors wi-fi..(Thank you panera!) JOhn, Amber, Mitch and Addiosn are back in the room waiting for the lawyers to arrive so Amber and Mitch can sign over their parental rights.. Funny how they have to do that when there is no biology there.. anywhoo... Amber is still on bed rest and will remain so until 9:30 tonight, then we may get moved to the post delivery room and she can walk about.

We plan to stay here until Monday or Tuesday depending on Amber and Addison and how we want to tackle the Thanksgiving traffic! What a blessed Thanksgiving we will have this year!

I will try to update more once we get to our hotel room (no wi-fi at the hospital) and I am sure Amber will want to add her two cents as well!

Thank you thank thank you for all yoru prayers! They worked, Addison is perfect and Amber is healing !

I will post photos once I get home (or we find a way to do so!)
