Happy 34 weeks!

WOW!! 34 weeks today?!? I just can't believe the time is just about here for Addison to join us. 34 weeks also means in just 29 days, yes 29 days I leave to go to Kansas for her birth. That is amazing to me.. looking back for some perspective, with Annabelle's pregnancy, in just 22 days she would have been born! (37 weeks gestation) Lets hope we make it to at least 38 weeks as that is when I am scheduled to arrive in Kansas.

Today we got up as usual and got ready for church. On our way John announces "CLOCKS" and we realize we failed to change the clocks and were indeed an hour early for church. We decided to window shop at, where else, Wal-mart and kill some time driving the long way into town. After church, which had a wonderful message about raising children and a very inspirational testimony from an Indian (from India not Native American) man who found the Lord and is now a part of Gideon's International (you know, the Christians that so graciously put Bibles in hotel rooms across the globe to include Syria, Vietnam and Bhutam!) ... it was very interesting, we had some lunch at Annabelle favorite place, Old Chicago pizza and then did some shopping...

We have been busy with getting the nursery together. I made the one of the last additions today of a small wicker table with drawers (on clearence at Pier one, thank you very much!)to go next to the rocker recliner. Here is a photo, but ours is white.

Yes, we FINALLY got a rocker/recliner at USA Baby in Franklin. They were having a huge sale (25% or more everything) and I decided it was worth the 75 minute drive to check it out. I was correct. Not only did I order a rocker I also go a few other much needed items. ie. changing table covers, cutsie baby shoes (big time sale on these... I think I got them 75% off) a second crib sheet and a feeding plate and spoons for Annabelle. I am just thrilled about the deal I got on the rocker/recliner. It is a Best Chair and instead of having a chair and ottoman that will take up lots of room I got the recliner that not take up too much space. In additon I got to order the fabric to match Addison's bedding. I choose Clemintine, no... there isn't any UT on it but it matches perfectly with the orange tint in the bedding. And I happen to love the color orange. I will post a photo once it arrives but here is one from the web page. ours will just be in clementine

I do still want to find a cute little lamp for the table for our night feedings but for now, I am very happy with how things are coming together. Finny how much easier it is when you know what you are doing, unlike with Annabelle.

Annabelle is upstairs right now NOT taking her nap. It is too funny listening to her talk to her toys. Very entertaining. While John and I are watching the Titans (going into overtime as I type) and Nascar (that would be John, not me) It is a beautiful day here today. Mid 70s and plenty of blue skies and sunshine.

I do have a few prayers requests.. Please keep Odaddy in your prayers for his ankle to heal, keep Cerae's parents in your prayers, her mom is in the hospital and needs extra prayers, Amber and Addison pray to keep Addison put until I can get there! and as always, pray for our, no your soldiers and their families.

Much love
Carolyn
